A family-friendly open gardens trail with a variety of city gardens in Sherwood, Nottingham
Saturday 1st June, 12.00 - 6.00
Welcome to Sherwood Open Gardens 2024. We are supported this year by Woodthorpe Plant Nursery and are very grateful to our sponsors (who will be listed shortly).
Due to circumstances beyond our control, this is the third version of our website .. please make sure you use this one for current information. www.sherwoodopengardensnottingham.weebly.com
The organisers and participants of Sherwood Open Gardens are delighted to announce the results of their vote on which two local charities to support this year.
Salaam Shalom Kitchen is a joint Muslim/Jewish project founded on the belief that working together across communities and perceived boundaries helps build community cohesion and break down barriers. They regularly provide up to 160 meals a week to anyone in need, and a friendly environment to those suffering from food poverty.
Keeping It Wild is the youth team of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, who do a lovely job of taking care of Woodthorpe Meadow (behind Sherwood Community Centre).
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible in our participating gardens, and thank you for your help in supporting these very worthwhile charities. On the day of Sherwood Open Gardens all the money taken will be donated equally between them.
